1. First bake a basic 8″ red velvet cake

2. Make a basic cream cheese frosting (add Amaretto liquor or flavoring to the mix)

3. Once baked and cooled cut the cake into four squares.

4. Place the cake in a mixer ( or you can crumble the cake by hand in a bowl)

5. Begin to mix the cake on low speed then immediately add two table spoons of the cream cheese frosting and two table spoons of amaretto liquor of flavoring.

6. Continue to mix on medium speed for 2min or until the mixture is all gathered in the center. (texture should be a crumbled leathery play dough texture)

7. Pour mixture in a bowl and place the fridge over night, or freezer for 1 hour if you intend to use same

8. Once out of the fridge begin to roll the cake batter into 1 1/2″ balls and place them on tray.

9. In a small glass or ceramic bowl begin to melt your chocolate or candy melts. (be careful not to over heat your chocolate)

10. Dip your lollipop sticks 1/4″ into the melted chocolate, then insert 1/4′ deep into the cake pops

11. Hand dip cake pops into the chocolate, decorate with sprinkles (if desired) then place them on a Styrofoam board.

12. Enjoy every bite of your mouth-watering cake pop!
